Former Vice President Al Gore is on a mission. He's determined to get people to fight the fight and recognise that the world has a problem. Climate change is a major issue and he wants to make damn sure that you are aware.
Just over ten years ago Gore won an Oscar which was followed by a Pulitzer Prize for his documentary, The Inconvenient Truth.
Filmmaker Davis Guggenheim followed the Gore on the lecture circuit, as the former presidential candidate campaigns to raise public awareness of the dangers of global warming and calls for immediate action to curb its destructive effects on the environment.
Now, Gore continues his tireless fight with the follow up documentary, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power, showing us how far we’ve come in ten years but still how far we need to go.
I sat down with Former Vice President Al Gore to discuss his new documentary and his thoughts about President Trump pulling the United States out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
An Inconvenient Sequel is in theatres on August 4th.
