There’s a new teacher coming to Netflix who is not only hilarious, but full of heart!

Teaching is No Joke for the Incredibly funny Gabriel Iglesias & Sherri Shepherd.

The Two Stand-Up Comics and Actors are starring in a New Netflix Series.. Mr. Iglesias which begins streaming on June 21st.

In the multi-cam series Mr. Iglesias, Gabriel Iglesias plays a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater. He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only save them from being “counseled out” by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal (Oscar Nuñez), but also to help them unlock their full potential. Sherri Shepherd, Jacob Vargas, Maggie Geha, Richard Gant, Cree Cicchino, Fabrizio Guido co-star. The series is also executive produced by Iglesias.

Gabriel Iglesias, known to his fans as “Fluffy,” is one of America’s most successful stand-up comedians performing to sold-out concerts around the world. Iglesias was featured in The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 40 Comedy Players of 2018 issue alongside comedy giants Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Lorne Michaels.Iglesias has also had the distinct honor of being one of the few to headline and sell-out Madison Square Garden, Staples Center and The Sydney Opera House. Currently, he is the voice of Babo in the film Ugly Dolls and has starred in several popular comedy specials including, One Show Fits All, I’m Sorry for What I Said When I Was Hungry and I’m Not Fat, I’m Fluffy, among others.

Sherri Shepherd is an American actress, comedian, author, and television personality. She has appeared in several TV shows in recurring roles, and starred as Ramona Platt on the ABC sitcom Less than Perfect from 2002 to 2006, for which she well received a BET Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2005. From 2007 to 2014, Shepherd was a co-host on The View, for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2009. In 2009, she starred in a sitcom of her own on Lifetime, Sherri, for one season, and also published the novel Permission Slips: Every Woman's Guide to Giving Herself a Break.
