Teen Lust - Interviews with the Cast

Jesse Carere in, Teen Lust

Teen Lust is a new Canadian comedy which had its world premiere last September, at the Toronto International Film Festival. The quirky film stars Annie Clark, Jesse Carere, Cary Elwes and Jon Dore.

Jesse Carere plays Neil, a high school student who has vowed to remain celibate due to his religious beliefs, as his church wants him to be part of a religious ceremony that requires him to be a virgin. Neil is unaware that his church, which practices Satanism, is planning to sacrifice him to Satan in order to prevent 1000 years of peace on earth. Once Neil becomes aware of this plan, he and his best friend Matt (Daryl Sabara) make plans to find a woman to take Neil's virginity and thus save him from certain death.

If you're into satanic cults, weird rituals and wacky comedy then this film is for you.  It's directed by Blaine Thurier ("Low Self-esteem Girl") and delivers the laughs and plenty of weird moments!

I spoke to Blaine and some of the films stars ( Jon Dore, Annie Clark and Jesse Carere) at the Toronto International Film Festival about this wacky comedy and working with such a hilarious cast.

Teen Lust opens in Toronto, Calgary and Winnipeg on Friday, August 14
