/Batman fans have something new to get excited about this summer - Pennyworth. The new drama follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth, who works in 1960’s London with young billionaire Thomas Wayne, who’s not yet the father of Bruce.
PENNYWORTH is a 10-episode, hour-long drama series from Warner Horizon Scripted Television based on DC characters created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger. It follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier in his 20s, who forms a security company and goes to work with a young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), who’s not yet Bruce’s father, in 1960s London.
Now playing on EPIX in the U.S.. it’s set to hit Canadian TV screens this Fall on Showcase and Crave.
Jack Bannon stars as Alfred Pennyworth, while Ben Aldridge plays Thomas Wayne. Jack and Ben can share more details about the backstory of Alfred and Thomas and what viewers can expect from the dramatic and action-filled new series Pennyworth.
