Who doesn’t need a few laughs these days! l Well - have no fear! The lighthearted Canadian comedy “Boys vs. Girls” fis now available across all TVOD platforms for audiences everywhere to watch it right now!

This wholly Canadian crafted comedic gem is directed by Mike Stasko (The Bird Men), and  hearkens back to cherished 1990’s camp comedies starring beloved comedy icons Colin Mochrie (Whose Line is it Anyway?),  Kevin McDonald (The Kids in the Hall), Eric Osborne (Degrassi), Rachel Dagenais (The Birder), Shaun Benson (Amazon’s The Boys), Dante Albidone (Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy), Leo Choy (Schitt’s Creek), and Jesse Camacho (Netflix’s Locke & Key).  The story in the film is loosely inspired by writer/director Mike Stasko’s experiences going to camp as a child at YMCA Camp Kitchikewana in Northern Ontario. Set in 1990, a summer camp is forced to go co-ed for the first time for financial reasons. The counsellors don’t like the change and a battle of the sexes ensues. Our cast & filmmakers are available for interview, and the film is available for review --private screener links available upon request.

Canadian filmmakers with a true independent sensibility of can-do energy and sheer fun, this energetic comedy was shot over 16 days utilizing a main location of the Kiwanis Sunshine Point Camp in Kingsville, Ontario.  This location was not only the filming stage, set production headquarters and production housing. There was also a family tie for lead actress Rachel Dagenais, as her grandfather ran summer programs at the Sunshine Point Camp in the 1970’s.

I spoke with Canadian comedy legends Colin Mochrie and Kevin McDonald about the film and ask Kevin about the upcoming Kids in the Hall Reunion series coming to Amazon Prime in the New year!
