The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree for actress and filmmaker Bryce Dallas Howard!
Bryce Dallas Howard is the first to admit she hit the gene jackpot. Her dad is of course famed actor and director Ron Howard, one of the most beloved Hollywood figures.
Bryce, an accomplished actress herself, is now making her feature directorial debut, with the documentary Dads. Just in time for Father’s Day, she offers an intimate look at the dads in her own family, including remarkable interviews with her late grandfather Rance, her father Ron and her brother Reed.
The film also features rare footage, viral videos and interviews with a host of Hollywood celebrity fathers – including Judd Apatow, Jimmy Fallon, Neil Patrick Harris, Jimmy Kimmel, Will Smith as well as everyday dads from around the world, it examines what it means to be a father. Dads gets across that there are many different types of dads out there – and all the fathers share heartfelt and moving stories, whether they are famous or not.
