The Imitation Game - Interviews with Benedict Cumberbatch, co-stars and director Morten Tyldum
/The Imitation Game is starting to garner plenty of attention especially with the numerous awards shows just around the corner. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch in an award worthy performance as Alan Turing, a genius British logician and cryptologist who helps crack Germany's Enigma Code during World War II but is later prosecuted by his government for illegal homosexual acts. Based on the exciting yet heartbreaking true story of what Turing went endured, Cumberbatch is brilliant and will surely be nominated for a Best Actor Oscar in the weeks to come. The film also stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode (The Good Wife) and Alan Leech (Downton Abbey).
The film had its world at the 41st Telluride Film Festival in August, and it also featured at the 39th Toronto International Film Festival in September where it won "People's Choice Award for Best Film," the highest award of the festival.
