Mark Wahlberg and Brie Larson in, The Gambler

Mark Wahlberg gets serious in, The Gambler. Wahlberg went all method (including losing 60 pounds) to play Jim Bennett a literature professor who  leads a secret life as a high-stakes gambler. Always a risk-taker, Bennett bets it all when he borrows from a gangster and offers his own life as collateral. Staying one step ahead, he pits his creditor against the operator of an illicit gambling ring while garnering the attention of Frank (John Goodman), a paternalistic loan shark. As his relationship with a student (Brie Larson) deepens, Bennett must risk everything for a second chance.

I had the opportunity to chat with Mark Wahlberg, co-stars Brie Larson, Michael K. Williams and director Rupert Wyatt in New York about working on the film.  Check out the interviews below.

The Gambler opens  12/19/14 (LA/NY) and on  12/25/15 (Wide)
