Netflix at Comic Con 2017

It's been nothing but thrills and surprises for Netflix fans at this year's Comic Con Convention in San Diego! 

On day 2 at San Diego International Comic-Con, Netflix surprised fans at The Netflix Experience, bringing some of the cast of Marvel’s The Defenders and Stranger Things for a quick meet and greet and photo op.

During the Defenders Hall H panel, special guest star, Jon Bernthal, from Marvel’s The Punisher stopped by for a visit. To raise the stakes even more, the streaming channel showed the first episode of Marvel’s The Defenders to close out the panel.

Marvel’s The Defenders follows Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones), a quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.  

Press and fans were also invited to dive into the Netflix Experience at the Hilton Gaslamp where they were plunged into the world of Bright, dropped into New York City with Marvel’s The Defenders and immersed in The Stranger Things VR Experience.  Fans were  thrilled at surprise appearances by the cast of Marvel’s The Defenders and Stranger Things!

To top it off The Netflix booth was open to fans for an interactive experience. Inside, they were surrounded by 360 degrees of Netflix Originals, and their own social feeds, via 50 plus screens.

Stranger Things Season 2 hits Netflix streaming channel in October just in time for Halloween!
