NIGHT OF THE ZOOPOCALYPSE - CHECKING IN WITH SCOTT THOMPSON, GABBI KOSMIDIS AND THE FILM'S DIRECTORS

An edge of your seat animated horror-comedy for kids? Night of the Zoopocalypse delivers the scares and the laughs while being a fun family friendly film!

Night of the Zoopocalypse (originally titled as Night of the Zoombies) is an animated Canadian-Belgium-French comedy horror film directed by storyboard artists Ricardo Curtis and Rodrigo Perez-Castro, written by James Kee and producer Steven Hoban, and inspired by a concept by Clive Barker.

The film follows a group of animal survivors in a zoo where a meteor virus turns various zoo creatures into slobbering mutant zombies. The setting is at the Colepepper Zoo where a meteor crashes down unleashing a virus that transforms the zoo animals into zombies.

Gracie (Gabbi Kosmidis), a young quirky wolf, teams up with a gruff mountain lion named Dan (David Harbour). Together they lead a team of survivors - including Xavier, the movie-obsessed lemur, Frida the fiery capybara, and Poot the baby pygmy hippo - on a perilous mission to escape the virus and rescue their zoo, on one spooky NIGHT OF THE ZOOPOCALYPSE.

I spoke with actors Gabbi Kosmidis who plays Gracie and Scott Thompson - who lends his voice to a nervous Ostrich named Ash AND directors Ricardo Curtis & Rodrigo Perez-Castro about working on this fun family friendly flick.
