OUR FRIEND - DAKOTA JOHNSON and JASON SEGEL INTERVIEW

Get out some kleenex, the latest offering from Dakota Johnson and Jason Segel is a full blown tear jerker.

Based on real life events, and the Esquire article "The Friend: Love is Not a Big Enough Word" by Matt Teague, Our Friend follows Dakota Johnson who plays Nicole, a wife and mother of two, diagnosed with terminal cancer. Her husband played by Casey Affleck does his best to maintain their life and love but he is overwhelmed, dealing with responsibilities, and new feelings at the prospect of losing her.

His best friend played by Jason Segel moves in with them to lighten the load as her strength fails. The friendship knows no bounds as Segel’s character devotes is entire life to helping out the people who he loves more than life itself. It’s an eye opening story of how far a friend will go to there for you when the chips are down.
