Promising Young Woman has not only accumulated a handful of nominations (and will likely gather a bunch more) but it is also a game changing movie written and directed by Emerald Fennell.

Emerald Fennell has had quite a successful career so far both in front of and behind the camera. The 35 year old actress is best known for her role as Nurse patsy Mount in the hit British series, Call the Midwife and most recently for playing Camilla Parker Bowles in The Crown.
She has also written for the show, Killing Eve but one day a thought came to her that kicked off her journey of writing and directing her critically acclaimed first film, Promising Young Woman.
The film centers around Cassie, a woman driven by a mysterious and tragic event in her past, who seeks out vengeance on unsuspecting men.
Promising Young Woman is now available to own for the first time on Digital and on Blu-ray™, DVD and On Demand on March 16, 2021 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

Our Bonnie Laufer caught up with Emerald Fennell via ZOOM from her home in London to discuss the film and also her recent role in the hit series, The Crown.
