Rachael Ray’s Rebuild - Catching up with Anthony Carrino

Long-time TV host and Chef Rachael Ray and Contractor Anthony Carrino join forces to help people who have faced disasters in their new series, Rachael Ray’s Rebuild.

When disaster strikes one’s home, life is turned completely upside down. Rebuilding a life after catastrophe doesn’t come with a playbook. Beyond the physical damage to the structure, there are nightmare scenarios with insurance companies, contractors, safety concerns, unforeseen financial obligations and the emotional toll this all takes on a family.

Rachael Ray has been through it herself and now she and her team are bringing their experience and resources to help families who are in the midst of trying to rebuild their lives to get back into their homes, and remake them better than they were before.

Anthony Carrino is a design and construction professional who has been in the industry for over 25 years. He is best known for his HGTV show, Kitchen Cousins, that followed him and his cousin, John Colaneri, as they took on the challenge of designing and building new kitchens for clients - Carrino has starred in over 200 episodes of television, and made guest appearances on countless others.

Carrino also produced and starred in his own digital series, TheBuild.tv, that documented the renovations of both his primary residence and his weekend getaway home.

I spoke with Anthony Carrino about the series and giving hope to people with this inspiring new series.
