They may be single but are never solo:  Tyler Perry’s Sistas is wrapping up with an explosive season finale!

Currently occupying the number one rating position on Wednesday night scheduling on the BET cable network as well as occupying the number two rating position across the US is the Tyler Perry comedy-drama series Sistas.

Starring KJ SmithEbony ObsidianMignon Von and Novi Brown in a series written, directed and executive produced by Perry, Sistas follows a group of single black females from different walks of life who bond over their one common thread: why am I single? In this bold new series, viewers watch these women navigate their “complicated love life” status, careers and friendship through the ups-and-downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. The hourlong drama takes viewers on a roller coaster ride of emotions and hilarious moments that are the epitome of #squadgoals.
Tyler Perry’s Sistas is executive produced, written and directed by Tyler Perry. It stars KJ Smith, Mignon, Ebony Obsidian, Novi Brown, DeVale Ellis, Chido Nwokocha, Anthony Dalton, Brian Jordan Jr. and Kevin Walton.

KJ Smith

Tallahassee-native KJ Smith stars as ‘Andrea (Andi) Barns.’ Her numerous credits include roles in Dynasty, Oprah’s Queen Sugar, Blackish, NCIS: LA, and Madea’s Family Funeral. 


Ebony Obsidian

Ebony Obsidian stars as ‘Karen Mott.’ The one-time journalism major can be seen as Michelle in the Netflix series Master of None and Adrienne in If Beale Street Could Talk. Ebony can also be seen as Nia in the upcoming Hulu series Wu-Tang: An American Saga and Carol in Amazon’s The Hunt 

The finale of Tyler Perry’s Sistas airs Wednesday, April 29 at 9 PM ET on BET.
