SPONTANEOUS - ROB HUEBEL & HAYLEY LAW INTERVIEWS

The new film Spontaneous makes you think about your next move in life and whether spontaneous combustion is something we all need to worry about!

Based on the Young Adult book of the same name, Spontaneous ( now on VOD) is a bizarre new movie that makes you think about living every day to the fullest.

When students in their high school inexplicably start to explode, seniors Mara and Dylan struggle to survive in a world where each moment may be their last. As an unexpected romance blossoms between them, they soon discover that when tomorrow is no longer promised, they can finally start living for today.

The exploding teens could be seen as representing school shooting victims, those who've accidentally overdosed, deaths via suicide, or even the intense pressure that accompanies high school life today. The combustions are very bloody , and one intense scene with multiple explosions is. little hard to watch.

The film stars Katherine Langford ( 13 Reasons Why), Charlie Plummer, Hayley Law, Piper Perabo and Rob Huebel.

I spoke with Rob Huebel who plays Katherine Langford’s character’s father in the film, about working with Katherine, how Spontaneous relates to what we are going through today and his beef about not being enough blood on set. Also below - is my interview with Hayley Law who plays Tess.
