TALKING NOODLES AND PANDAS WITH JACK BLACK AND JAMES HONG - KUNG FU PANDA: THE DRAGON NIGHT
/Everyone's favorite Panda is back!
After years of heading up three successful films, Jack Black returns to KUNG FU PANDA in the new series KUNG FU PANDA: THE DRAGON KNIGHT.
This hilarious series not only introduces some interesting new characters, but of course what would Po be with out his trusty dad, Mr. Ping ( voiced by James Hong). Mr. Ping of course is a Chinese goose and the owner of the most popular noodle shop in the Valley of Peace. He adopted Po when he found a baby panda in one of the shop's radish crate deliveries.
This time around, when a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons, Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade voiced by Rita Ora.
Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction — and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way.
With loads of laughs, fantastic animation and an abundance of noodles Po makes new friends and discoveries in this updated Netflix version of the classis films we have all come to know and love.
Our Bonnie Laufer caught up with the series stars Jack Black and James Hong to talk about why they love these characters so much and why nobody can resist a good noodle.
