The Love Club, Starring Brittany Bristow, Lily Gao, Chantel Riley, and Camille Stopps, will air as a four-part movie event on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET/PT beginning February 10 on W Network and STACKTV.
At a New Year’s Eve college party, four women – Nicole (Bristow), Sydney (Gao), Lauren (Riley), and Tara (Stopps) – each dealing with their own dating disaster, take a vow to call on one another if they are ever in romantic crisis again. This vow that has them resurrecting their “Love Club” ten years later as each of them search for their unique happily ever after. Viewers will be able to follow the lives of The Love Club by watching the four-part movie event sequentially or as stand-alone movies, in which each woman is the lead in her own romantic journey, helped by the rest of her friends to find their one true love. Filmed in the Hamilton, ON area, The Love Club also stars Canadians Marcus Rosner, Jesse Hutch, Andrew Bushell, and Brett Donahue.
The Love Club: Nicole airs Friday, February 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on W Network and STACKTV
Freshly engaged, interior designer Nicole still wonders if the one she is meant to be with is her mystery school pen-pal whose letters she has kept all these years. At a loss of what to do, she seeks out the help of The Love Club. Knowing their friend Nicole is a hopeless romantic who will never move on until the mystery is solved, they all set out to track down Nicole’s pen pal. Their sleuthing leads them to a quaint lodge where Nicole poses as the lodge’s hired decorator and where she meets the man she thinks is the one she’s been looking for all these years. But solving her romantic mystery isn’t that easy as Nicole tries to maintain her façade as the lodge’s decorator all while being thrown for a loop by an unexpected imposter. With the help of The Love Club, Nicole and her friends try to find the man who penned the letters, an adventure which tests Nicole’s pursuit of her happily ever after and her belief in happy endings.
The Love Club: Sydney airs Friday, February 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on W Network and STACKTV
Former star track athlete, Sydney is now a successful food blogger who still holds a flame for her college boyfriend whom she hasn’t seen in ten years… until now. After bumping into him over street food, she discovers he’s entered the Valentine Half Marathon. Despite being out of marathon shape, she quickly signs up for the run then recruits The Love Club to come help. Knowing Sydney has never let go of her toxic ex, The Love Club hires a trainer to distract her, a plan that backfires when Sydney is paired with running buddy Theo, chef and owner of a struggling restaurant which Sydney poorly reviewed. Though they clash over their different ‘tastes’, it becomes apparent to The Love Club that Theo is the man for Sydney, even if she does not realize it and is still convinced she should give her ex another chance. With The Love Club’s support, Sydney finally embraces the romantic prospects that wait for her at the finish line.
The Love Club: Lauren airs Friday, February 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on W Network and STACKTV
For years Lauren put her dreams of opening an art gallery on hold while her husband Peter moved up in his career. Her resentments eventually overshadowed the love they once shared bringing them to the brink of divorce. Faced with divorce papers, Lauren recruits The Love Club to help her move on. But when her friends sense that things may not officially be over between Lauren and Peter, they recruit Lauren’s young daughter to help them remind them why they fell in love in the first place. This is easier said than done when Lauren mistakenly concludes Peter is dating prompting her to test the dating waters where she meets an irresistible Spaniard. As Lauren tries to realize her dream of opening her art gallery while navigating her mixed emotions, The Love Club create a plan to keep Lauren and Peter together.
The Love Club: Tara airs Friday, March 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on W Network and STACKTV
A free spirit with a beautiful singing voice, Tara has always professed she doesn’t need a partner or “so-called commitment”, after all she has The Love Club. So just days before New Year’s, Tara declares she will have the year of Tara, one where she focuses solely on her singing career. The Love Club shows up to help plan Tara’s commitment-to-herself party, but when her friends see the connection between Tara and Noah, a jaded musician hired to perform at the party, their job turns into matchmaking as they attempt to show Tara there is nothing wrong with falling in love. Tara fights them every step of the way until, thanks to a playfully worded invite sent by The Love Club, her mother shows up expecting an actual wedding! Having spent years trying to convince her mom she’s not “alone”, Tara recruits Noah as her actual fiancé. This ruse helps Tara to finally open her heart to what she wants.
