When the kids discover that Mr. Benedict and Number Two have been kidnapped, they must piece together the riddles and clues within a perilous scavenger hunt set by Mr. Benedict to foil Curtain’s latest scheme. Relying on only their wits, intellect, and empathy, the charming group of misfits embark on a globe-trotting adventure by air, land, sea and pie truck, calling upon their special skills to solve the mysteries and rescue their lost comrades.
Along the way, the kids experience the growing pains that come along with being part of their new “found family,” while remaining true to their unique selves. In the process, they discover what true happiness really means.
Mystic Inscho stars as “Reynie Muldoon” in “The Mysterious Benedict Society”. He didn’t start his career in TV and film, as from a young age, he was trained in all forms of performing arts, including dancing, singing, piano, guitar and drums. He played young leads in various local musical theaters in the SF Bay Area, including Tarzan, A Christmas Carol, and Annie. At the age of 9, he was cast as the lead guitarist, “Zack Mooneyham,” in the first School of Rock Broadway National Tour, directed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. He toured the country for more than 10 months before he moved to LA with his family. He recently played a supporting role in the Netflix movie, “Your Place or Mine,” starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher.
Seth B. Carr plays George ‘Sticky’ Washington in the Disney+ series The Mysterious Benedict Society. Seth is known for playing Young Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) in the film “Black Panther”. Other credits include his role in Netflix and WWE's collaboration film “The Main Event”, and the series, “Knight Squad'', Netflix’s "Free Rein”, Amazon’s “Bosch”, and the thriller “Breaking In”, opposite Gabrielle Union.
