Unforgettable - Interviews with Katherine Heigl, Rosario Dawson and More!

Katherine Heigl has a really hard time letting go of her first love in the new thriller, Unforgettable

Katherine Heigl stars as Tessa Connover, who is barely coping with the end of her marriage when her ex-husband, David (Geoff Stults), becomes happily engaged to Julia Banks (Rosario Dawson)—not only bringing Julia into the home they once shared but also into the life of their daughter, Lilly (Isabella Rice). Trying to settle into her new role as a wife and a stepmother, Julia believes she has finally met the man of her dreams, the man who can help her put her own troubled past behind her. But Tessa's jealousy soon takes a pathological turn until she will stop at nothing to turn Julia's dream into her ultimate nightmare.

The movie is directed by famed producer Denise Di Novi ( Edward Scissorhands (1990), Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011) and The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) making this her directorial debut.   Di Novi replaced Amma Asante (Belle), who was planning to make the film with Kerry Washington in the lead role. Washington ended up taking a gig playing Anita Hill for the HBO film Confirmation, and Asante left as a result.

Denise says that she loved the intensity in the script and the challenges that the two main lead women were put into that ultimately made her decide that this would be the right project for her to direct.

As for Heigl who had worked with Di Novi before says she was excited about playing such a devious, conniving and troubled woman. She also got to have a knock down drag out fight scene with Rosario Dawson who she calls the consummate pro and a real bad ass!

It's a treat to see former Charlie's Angel Cheryl Ladd in the movie as Heigl's "perfect" mom and trust me, she's far from an angel in this movie!

I spoke with Katherine Heigl, Rosario Dawson, Cheryl Ladd, Geoff Stults and director Denise Di Novi in Los Angeles about working on this movie.  The interviews can be found by clicking below.
