6 Underground - Ben Hardy Interview

Fast cars. Explosions. Non-stop action! Michael Bay’s latest thrill fest has hit Netflix and it’s got everything you’d expect and more!

6 Underground is the latest movie from director Michael Bay that is currently streaming on Netflix. The film centers around six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, who have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future.

6 Underground stars Ryan Reynolds as an eccentric billionaire who calls himself “One.” He’s recruited five men and women (also referred to by numbers, hence the movie’s title) to become a vigilante squad taking down criminals and dictators around the world. They ostensibly all have specific skills — for instance, “Six” (Dave Franco) is introduced as “the Driver” — but the rules are loose at best. When Six gets replaced, his stand-in, “Seven” (Corey Hawkins), isn’t recruited to fulfill the getaway-driver role, he’s just recruited because he’s a good soldier.

British actor Ben Hardy is one of the recruits whose specialty is Parkour. This isn’t the first time that Hardy has dabbled in the action genre. He brought Angel to life in X-Men: First Class and subsequent films in the X-Men franchise, but 6 Underground is a bit different for the young actor.

We also got to know and love him in last year’s hit movie, Bohemian Rhapsody as Queen band member Roger Taylor.

I spoke with Ben Hardy about the action packed 6 Underground, trying to keep a straight face while working opposite Ryan Reynolds and whether or not he still listens to Queen! Check out our interview below!!

Underground is available on Netflix. . Enjoy the movie now or with your family over the holidays, because who doesn’t love a good ol’ fashioned non stop action thrill ride?
