Tim Guinee stars in, Ash

Ash is a hard hitting film that will not only punch you in the gut, but will stay with you long after you have finished watching it.

Ash is a 2019 Canadian drama film directed by Andrew Huculiak and starring Tim Guinee, Chelah Horsdal, Eric Keenleyside, and Cameron Crosby. 

The film follows Stan, played by (Tim Guinee), who reporting from the frontlines of the Okanagan wildfires, documents uncommon heroism on his blog while hoping for a big break that’ll make him a household name beyond Peachland, British Columbia. When he's accused of an extremely disturbing crime that damages his marriage and reputation, he must scramble to salvage what's left of his life.

The screenplay was inspired by a childhood friend of Andrew’s whose family experiences were described in Dave Preston’s book Truth Be Told: A Journey From the Dark Side of OCD.

Tim Guinee best known for his roles in Grey’s Anatomy, Hell on Wheels and most recently the hit Showtime series, Homeland says playing Sta has definitely been one of the biggest challenges of his career.

I spoke with Tim from his home in upstate New York about taking on the role and working on this Canadian production.
