BEN GIROUX INTERVIEW FOR "BIG NATE"
/Ben Giroux is having the time of his life going back to sixth grade for his new animated series, Big Nate.
Big Nate is a new computer-animated television series based on the popular comic strip and book series of the same name by Lincoln Peirce.
It follows the adventures of Nate Wright alongside his sixth grade pal. Nate is a somewhat precocious 11-year-old and loves to pull pranks! He navigates sixth grade with humor and style. And he manages to get into plenty of mischief along with his friends. Nate deals with disasters at home or detention at school. Regardless, he enjoys a challenge and loves to express himself through the cartoons he creates.
The show’s star Ben Giroux is no stranger to the voice over world known for playing The Toddler from Henry Danger/Danger Force and Mikey Munroe from Bunsen is a Beast.
Big Nate is a fun series for the whole family and promises loads of laughs. In addition to Giroux as Nate, the show’s voice cast includes multi-hyphenate Dove Cameron as Nate’s older sister Ellen. It also includes the familiar voice of Rob Delaney as Ben’s father.
The first eight episodes of Big Nate will be available to stream beginning Thursday, Feb. 17, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Australia. More episodes will be announced at a later date.
