GHOST HUNTERS - Brandon Alvis Interview

Ghost Hunters is back for a spooky new season on A and E and promises to be like nothing we’ve seen before!

In season 2 of A&E’s Ghost Hunters, the team heads into uncharted territory to be the first to investigate reports of paranormal phenomena in some of the nation’s most remote locations. Their journey takes them to isolated, distant corners of the United States where they confront extreme conditions and desolate terrain. The team seeks out forgotten worlds where darkness and death plague residents who have been forced to live with the unknown.

Despite mysterious and unnerving warnings from locals, the Ghost Hunters face their fears and stay on mission: to help people confront terrifying paranormal encounters that have shaken them to their core. In doing so, they capture their most compelling, persuasive evidence in over a decade. New episodes of Ghost Hunters will air Wednesdays at 9pm ET/PT following the two episode premiere on April 8 beginning at 8pm ET/PT.

Mustafa Gatollari is the paranormal historian and site analyst of the Ghost Hunters team. For the last 10 years, he has investigated alongside his New Jersey-based team, emphasizing the value of sincerity and legitimacy in his hunts. Mustafa has more than 80 investigations under his belt. Although his focus is investigating private homes and helping ordinary people, he has also delved into everything from abandoned factories and shopping centers to a parking garage in Eastern Europe that had been built over a mass gravesite. As a writer, Mustafa likes to approach an investigation the way an investigative journalist might approach a story – he not only enjoys conducting interviews with witnesses and digging into a property’s public records, but he’s also skilled in uncovering information quickly, which is an asset in any investigation under a tight schedule.

Brandon Alvis is the paranormal technician of the Ghost Huntersteam. His twin passions for history and the paranormal led him to establish the American Paranormal Research Association (APRA). Brandon has investigated some 200 public and private locations with APRA, many of which bear historical significance. Investigations have included mental hospitals, prisons, well-known murder sites, cemeteries, and private homes, as well as more famous sites like Alcatraz Island, Preston Castle, and the South Pittsburgh Hospital. As a natural skeptic, Brandon researches every location meticulously before he begins collecting evidence in an effort to make the study of the paranormal as credible as possible.
