Incredibles 2 - Brad Bird Interview

It’s been 14 years since we met The Incredibles. The Disney Pixar superhero family struck a chord with audiences worldwide, was nominated for four Oscars and won two – Best Animated Feature and Sound Editing.

So - the question on everyone's mind was, “When are we going to hear from them again?”

Wait no longer. Incredibles 2 is here with all the familiar faces and some new ones too!

This time around we discover that Jack-Jack, the baby in the family, has some tremendous powers that he puts to good use - especially when it comes to dealing with pesky raccoons!

When we catch up with our favourite animated superhero family, Telecommunications guru Winston Deavor enlists Elastigirl to fight crime and make the public fall in love with superheroes once again. That leaves Mr. Incredible with one of his greatest challenges ever -- staying home and taking care of three rambunctious children. As Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack offer him a new set of headaches, a cybercriminal named Screenslaver launches his dastardly plan -- hypnotizing the world through computer screens.

I had the opportunity to chat with writer/director Brad Bird ( who also lends his voice to the fabulosu Edna Mode)  to discuss the sequel and how things have changed for him and this super family over the last 14 years.
