THE SINNER - BILL PULLMAN INTERVIEW (Season 3)

Bill Pullman returns as Detective Harry Ambrose for Season 3 of the hit series, The Sinner.

USA Network’s (Showcase in Canada) critically acclaimed limited series, THE SINNER, returns for a third season on February 6 with Bill Pullman reprising his role as Detective Harry Ambrose. The third installment follows Ambrose as he begins a routine investigation of a tragic car accident on the outskirts of Dorchester, in upstate New York. While there, he uncovers a hidden crime that pulls him into the most dangerous and disturbing case of his career.

The third season cast also includes Parisa Fitz-Henley (Midnight, Texas) as Leela Burns, Jessica Hecht (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood) as Sonya, Eddie Martinez (The Infiltrators) as Vic Soto, and Chris Messina (Sharp Objects) as Nick Haas. Derek Simonds is the showrunner and executive produces with Jessica Biel, Michelle Purple, Charlie Gogolak, Willie Reale, and Adam Bernstein.

THE SINNER’s debut season was the year’s #1 new cable series of 2017, and garnered multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award nominations as well as a SAG nomination for Male Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie for Bill Pullman.

Bill Pullman started acting professionally in New York theater in 1983 and shortly after began a film career which currently spans over 70 features and several television series. Pullman’s movie career includes Ruthless People, Spaceballs, Sleepless in Seattle, While You Were Sleeping, Casper, Lost Highway, Battle of the Sexes and perhaps his best-known role as the nation’s President in the action franchise Independence Day. 

I spoke with Bill via satellite from Los Angeles about working on the show and much more.
