TROPPO SEASON 2 - WE HEAR FROM THOMAS JANE and NICOLE CHAMOUN

Bikies and Crocs and Snakes…Oh My!! Prime Video’s TROPPO S2 is on the way!

Stars Thomas Jane (Boogie Nights) and Nicole Chamoun (Safe Harbour) are back in the fictional rural town of Crimson Lake, in the tropical North of Australia, where another bizarre murder has taken place. Six months after Ted Conkaffey (Jane) and Amanda Pharrell (Chamoun) solved their first murder case, the unlikely duo is now investigating the bizarre local murder of a healing retreat leader with connections to an exotic drug ring and a ‘bikie’ gang.

While Amanda tangles with an old enemy and finds a new love interest, Ted’s past stalks him and his family to Crimson Lake - with deadly consequences. Adapted for television by Yolanda Ramke, Troppo is based on the Crimson Lake books, a contemporary crime series set in Queensland, Australia, written by #1 New York Times best-selling author Candice Fox. Season two of Troppo is inspired by the second book in the series, Redemption Point.

An accomplished producer, director and comic book author, Thomas Jane is most widely regarded for his impressive acting career. From his breakout performance in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Boogie Nights, Jane became a prominent face in several high-profile features, including Deep Blue SeaThe Punisher, and Dark Country, which he also directed. Jane played the lead role in both HBO’s hit sports drama 61 and the comedy-drama series Hung, for which he earned three Golden Globe nominations for Best Actor in a Television Series. Thomas also co-created RAW Studios, a comic book and graphic novel media company. Under this mantle, he has written and released comic books, including Bad Planet.

Nicole Chamoun is best known for her compelling depiction of Iraqi refugee Zahra Al Bayati in SBS's critically acclaimed Safe Harbour, for which she was nominated both for a Logie for Most Outstanding Supporting Actress and an AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Television Drama; as well as the series lead role of Amirah Al-Amir in On The Ropes. Nicole’s other leading TV roles include Laila in Romper Stomper, Afina in the ABC's The Dr Blake Mysteries, and Selma in City Homicide.
