The new Lifetime series turns the tables on choreographer and creative director Laurieann Gibson to show you the powerhouse behind some of the biggest superstars in the music industry.
The docuseries Laurieann Gibson: Beyond the Spotlight follows Laurieann and her team at BoomKack Worldwide; each episode is a rare look into Laurieann’s process as she shapes and steers the creative narrative of her clients that include Sean “Puffy” Combs, Fantasia Barrino, Tamar Braxton, French Montana and many more.
The Toronto-born Laurieann Gibson is a choreographer, director, television personality, singer, actress and dancer. She has choreographed dance numbers for musical artists such as Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Alicia Keys. Gibson was a one time “Fly Girl” on the popular TV series In Living Color. She has also choreographed the movies Alfie and Honey.
